Why Dr. Patel Became a Dentist
Ever since he was young, Dr. Patel wanted to be in the medical field because of his grandfather who was a physician. He was taught to be truly passionate about helping people feel better and changing their lives. He decided that dentistry was the field where he could best make an impact, and the rest is history!
Education & Training
His dental education started in India, where he received a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the Government Dental College in Ahmedabad. After moving to the US, he eventually graduated from the prestigious Boston University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Even after graduating he still attends numerous continuing education courses in order to stay up to date on the latest techniques and treatments. He even went on to complete numerous advanced courses in dental implant surgery, bone grafting, and Invisalign. This extensive experience allows him to treat a wide range of cases all at his convenient office in Lady Lake. Plus, he has trained with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) to provide minimal oral sedation, and he is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Outside of the Office…
Dr. Patel has a wife named Marcela, a beautiful daughter, and another child on the way some time in early 2021. He loves staying active, playing cricket, tennis, and football (Go Patriots and Buccaneers!). And, he likes to cook, play guitar, and practice photography whenever he can in his free time.
